Grenoble. Or maybe you prefer to be nestled in the Alps? Grenoble is located at the bottom of the French Alps, and it boasts gorgeous mountain views. The city is surrounded by nature. If you love winter sports and visiting national parks (summers are actually very warm and beautiful!), then Grenoble has you covered. There are multiple parks within a couple hours drive from Grenoble, and of course, the mountains are nearby too!
