Domestic violence death in McCall, husband under arrest in Boise

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — On February 18th, 2023, McCall Police Department officers and Valley County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a report of domestic violence in the 100 block of Eagle Shores Court in McCall, Idaho. They found Lynne Ellen Dooley and her husband, Mark Edward Dooley, with serious injuries.

The officers provided immediate medical assistance to both individuals, while McCall Fire and EMS arrived and provided emergency medical care. Unfortunately, Lynne Dooley was pronounced deceased at the scene. Mark Dooley was transported to St. Luke's McCall for further medical attention and later transferred to St. Alphonsus in Boise.

Upon his release from the hospital, Mark Edward Dooley was arrested on a Valley County arrest warrant for Murder in the First Degree (Idaho Code 18-4001, 4003) and booked into the Ada County Jail. He is expected to be extradited to Valley County, where he will be arraigned on the charge of Murder in the First Degree and booked into the Valley County Jail.
